Obviously, a government running amuck getting things stimulated might loose sight of reality and morph into, “Bobo and the Magic Money Machine.” Not surprising, the White House is predicting a 10-year federal deficit of $9,000,000,000,000. It’s dang hard to comprehend this amount – kind of like trying to describe the simultaneous location and velocity of a subatomic particle. Fortunately, bargain programs such as the new $300 million federal program to boost energy-efficient appliance sales, are easier to figure out.

For the new program to catch on, it’ll need catchy ads like: As seen on TV! It’s Uncle Sam’s “Soap ‘n Suds” appliance bonanza. For a limited time, receive a $50 to $200 rebate on any energy efficient appliance. Tell ‘em Barack sent you. Offer void in Lennie’s Bar and Grill, The Grand Canyon, Kennedy Space Center, and downtown Minot, ND. Combine with: “Cash-for-rabbits, Cash-for-Phonebooks, Cash-for-Politicians, and Cash-for-Large-Bankrupt-Corporations.
